The Bartat Home Guard platoon boasts a Corporal Jones amongst its roll-call, foreshadowing Dad's Army (1968).
In the railway station scene [ a studio ] there is a poster advertising " television ". Although this was introduced in the London area prior to the war, only the well to do could afford it, and it was closed down when war broke out. Clearly the film makers believed audiences would know about the medium.
