In the trailer of the film, May Britt appears under the pseudonym of 'Kay Wilkens' and it was her debut.
In an interview, director Mario Monicelli declared that producer Carlo Ponti imposed to credit Steno as co-director for distribution reasons, as the two were known as a successful pair. Steno was in exactly the same situation with his producer. The two are officially listed as co-directors but they never worked together.
