In itself this film is nicely done and there is plenty light comedy in it, but this viewer's pleasure was hindered by the old-fashioned morals the film favours and the very degrading behaviour of the husband towards his wife (Mein süßes, kleines Mädchen!).
It is always a pleasure to see Liselotte Pulver, and she is - as ever - fine and lively, but Paul Hubschmidt is dull....as ever.
