First Danish feature film in color.
Birgitte Reimer was originally supposed to play Eva, but had to be replaced due to her commitment to Vi som går stjernevejen (1956).
This movie was the first ever in Denmark to be recorded fully in color (Eastmancolor).
Two of the film's main characters, Helle Virkner's Eva and Angelo Bruun's Marcel, are said to be modeled after two popular artists of the day: Actress Bodil Kjer and her costumer Holger Blom.
