Prior to the US release this Italian horror classic was heavily edited by the US distributor. As a result the US cut runs nearly 20 minutes shorter than the original Italian version. As one can imagine several scenes were cut out and several important plot elements have vanished. However one can find scenes in the US cut that were exclusively shot for this version mostly showing more violence and erotic, trying to make it more interesting for the US market.
Paris. Young girls are found dead, drained of their blood. A journalist investigates these murders while the beautiful Gisele, from a noble family, tries to seduce him.
