Dwyer and Woodward play the roles they created in the original stage production, the latter in his London stage debut.
After a short run at the Theatre Club, Leatherhead in December 1953 under the title "Follow The Plough", the play opened at the Garrick Theatre, London on June 17 1954 and ran until July 24.
