Tyrone Power also starred in the original version of the film, Love Is News (1937), in much the same role. His co-stars were Loretta Young, Don Ameche and George Sanders.
"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60 minute radio adaptation of the movie on
March 21, 1949 with Gene Tierney reprising her film role.
The radio advertisement for hair tonic is exactly the same as in the original, Love Is News (1937), with the exception of the main characters' names.
In a scene where guests arrive at The Sun Valley Lodge, Fox used the same shot from their movie Sun Valley Serenade (1941). They also included the same "It happened in Sun Valley" melody, which was sung by its stars in the previous movie.
