Lamser : What kind of jungle is this?
Dalton Kraik : I don't know, but I could learn to like it.

Lamser : [Eating a piece of wild fruit] These things are looscious.
Dalton Kraik : Looscious? You mean they're delicious.
Lamser : What's the difference? Either way, they're tasty.

Dalton Kraik : Hey, Lamser, come here. Looks like we're going to have one cop less, huh.
Lamser : I hope not. He seems like a right guy.
Dalton Kraik : Hey, I noticed you're getting kind of chummy with the opposition. What's with ya? Haven't I always taken care of ya? Haven't I always gotten you out of jams?
Lamser : [snorts] Yeah - also in. If you hadn't gotten trigger happy with those natives, we wouldn't be in this spot.
Dalton Kraik : Hey, I don't like backtalk from the hired help, Lamser. Your insurance paid up?
Lamser : Look, Kraik, I'm tired of runnin'. I always thought you were pretty much of a big shot, but you been in a couple of spots lately and I'm not sure anymore.
Dalton Kraik : Better get sure. You know I'm not in this caper alone. Guys I play ball with would hate to hear that you called copper. Think it over.
Lamser : Maybe I will.

[Lamser has been shot while taking Kraik's bullet meant for Paul]
Lamser : Are they gone, kid?
Ticoora : Yes. With Mahorib dead, they'll turn back to Liongo.
Lamser : I wish I could turn back now.
Ticoora : Oh, Lamser, you'll be all right.
Lamser : Easy, kid. Kraik wasn't kidding about those pals of his. This'll save me from a trip back to the States. Besides, I get seasick.
[Lamser dies]

[to scout the trail ahead, Ticoora swings from tree to tree on slender vines]
Lamser : [grabbing one of the vines] Whattya say?
Paul Cooper : I'll take the low road.
