Absolutely Mechanical Except For When O'Connor And Durante Sing And Dance
In short, it's one of those overwritten comedies in which very little happens but one of the five writers -- none of whose names is familiar to me -- pulled a gag from a file and stuck it in place. Miss Laurie is very cute in her second movie. Durante gets a solo song, O'Connor gets a solo song and dance, and they have a duet or two. Everyone collects a paycheck and moves on to the next movie.

- TriviaAmerican Film Institute Catalog of Feature Films (1941-1950) includes an actor named 'Jerry Lewis' in an uncredited role as one of the milkmen. This is not the well-known comedian, Jerry Lewis, who was under contract to Hal B. Wallis at this time, and a prominent player in his own right.
