Not released in the UK until September 1962 when it went out on the ABC circuit as a supporting film to Val Guest's Jigsaw (1962).
Kenneth Griffith recalled that on the first day of filming, Peter Cushing kept forgetting his lines because he was appearing in a play in the West End at the same time.
Filmed on a bet in seventeen days.
