Following a near drowning, producer Stanley A. Long asked his brother, a trained diver, to stand by in case of any re-occurrence. Peter Long also appears in the film instructing the actors in diving.
Passed by the British Board of Film Censors on 20 February 1963 with an "A" certificate (suitable for children if accompanied by an adult). Such was the demand for nudist travelogues by 1963 that this movie ran at two West End cinemas simultaneously. Opening on 22 March 1963 at the Cinephone and the Jacey in the Strand, it ran at both venues for six weeks. The distributors chose A porte chiuse (1961) starring Anita Ekberg as supporting feature at both cinemas.
