Poet Sahir Ludhianvi was to write the all Songs for this film but as Sahir Ludhianvi and Nasir Hussain couldnt get along, Nasir's regular Majrooh Sultanpuri was taken as the song writer of this film.

Scene before the song Banda Parvar Thaam Lo Jigar where Joy Mukherjee pretends to be a horse rider and throws purse down to let go Rajendranath collect it and runs with Asha Parekh on the horse carriage. was later inspired in the film Andaz Apna Apna 1994.Aamir Khan pretending to be a horse rider and asks Salman Khan to pick up the fallen rose and runs away with Raveena Tandon before the song Elo Ji Sanam.
