Caroline gets a gun from the doll and aims it at her Marcello, but when the dome raises, she's clearly pointing a different gun.
Marcello claims to have an issue of "Golden Age Flash" from 1935. The Golden Age of comic books ran from 1938-1956 and Flash Comics debuted in January 1940.
At the sunset ceremony, Marcello counts seconds to the sunset. His countdown from ten takes over fifteen seconds.
Caroline picks a small chrome plated pistol from under the cushion. There is a gas release hole in the side of the barrel suggesting it is a starter gun.
