The film was initially granted a "second category A" quality rating by the Spanish censorship committee. As Chamartín, the production company, needed a financial hit after a series of flops, the film was heavily recut before release to try to speed up the pacing as suggested by the committee and thus raise the quality rating. As a result, and since they didn't modify the title sequence, several credited actors, most notably Julieta Serrano as the kidnapped little girl's mother, are nowhere to be seen in the final version.
Debut of actress Julieta Serrano.
