In the closeup of the newspaper article headlines Central Africa in Turmoil, it is clearly visible that the upper half of the newspaper has been pasted over the lower portion. The thumb on the left hand side of the screen is at the dividing point between the pasted portions.
Both the wall map and the building sign "Territorial Agent Equatorial Africa" should have been in French, not English, as Libreville was in French Equatorial Africa where French would have been the official language.
Geography in the wall map at the Territorial Agent's office is inaccurate. Libreville is shown being just north of the Spanish colony Rio Muni when it is significantly to the south of Rio Muni. Mount Virunga (the "Green Hell") is shown as being in the center of Cameroon which was not part of French Equatorial Africa. There are Virunga Mountains in Africa but there is no Mount Virunga and the Virunga Mountains themselves are hundreds of miles to the east of French Equatorial Africa where Uganda, Rwanda and the Congo meet. Dr. Lorentz's town of Mongwe is clearly in the British colony of Nigeria and would have had no connection with the Libreville authorities in French Equatorial Africa.
