The hit MGM film, H. G. Wells' The Time Machine, had a "multi-run premiere at neighborhood, suburban & drive-in theatres everywhere!," on Friday, July 22, 1960. The movie was featured as the bottom-half (or companion feature) on a double-bill with the Paramount film, The Bellboy, starring Jerry Lewis . . . Time Machine was a George Pal Production in futuristic Metrocolor.
