In an interview in FilmFax Magazine (issues #86 and 87), Keir Dullea stated that in the final scene of "De Sade" his father, Robert Dullea, played the elderly De Sade. Dullea did not want to play this scene with all the heavy makeup and suggested that his father appear instead. His lines were dubbed by his son.
