The movie starts with an animated sequence, drawn by László Réber. Among his many other excellent works, he was the one who illustrated Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s numerous books published for the Hungarian market.

Neat children's' movie

Three separate stories of roughly eleven year old Gyuszi and his younger brother roughly five year old Öcsi and Csilicsala bácsi the wizard. Gyuszi always gets in trouble, and wants Csilicsala bácsi to bail him out through making his fantasies (eg. a robot double who learns maths and physics instead of him). Every story ends in a disaster that teaches Gyuszi a lesson of being responsible. All of the stories are sprinkled with fun cute word games, and conflicts. There movie is based on a book of a lot more episodes, about Csilicsala the wizard. The book is a children's' classic that has been read by generations for the next generations. There is an English language version available, but it seems to be corny and mistranslated, making the wizard into a magic grandpa.
