After Dracula has snatched a child from the village for his three "brides" to feast on, the child's mother comes to the castle. As she bangs at the gate, demanding her baby back, Dracula summons wolves to finish her off. The "mother at the gate" sequence can be seen in the Republic VHS release of 1998, but not on the 2007 DVD from Dark Sky.
