Some kissing
Suggestive content and sexual humor in most all episodes of the first five seasons but it gets less frequent after that. Nothing ever gets too vulgar or graphic.
Hawkeye and Trapper are womanizers, they constantly try to sleep with women, usually their attempts are fumbled, BJ is married and only has one case of infidelity with a kiss and nothing more before rectifying this.

Many episodes show characters in peril common to war such as firefights, targets of mortar fire and snipers, aerial attacks, standoffs, getting lost, the harsh constrictions they are living in, and more. Despite the shows comedic tone, these scenes can sometimes be very intense and suspenseful.
There are many heavy topics discussed, such as trauma and violence. The atmosphere is generally light-hearted, but some episodes and later seasons are far more intense than the rest. The series finale is particularly emotionally intense and disturbing.
