Greta Franklin, a beautiful American blonde, arrives on an island near Venice and rings the door-bell of Richard Stuart, a famous novelist who lives in a beautiful house with his wife Elonora. The secretary Greta Franklin travels from London to Venice to work with the prominent writer Richard Stuart, who lives with his wife Eleanora Stuart in an island. Greta is replacing his previous secretary Sally Reece that is missing. When Police Inspector Antonelli interviews Greta, he learns that she accepted the job to investigate what has happened to Sally, who was her friend.
