The theme of the film was repeated in 2007 movie "Life in a Metro" for Sharman Joshi, K. K. Menon & Kangana Ranaut's characters.
Amitabh Bachchan sports a hairstyle in a few scene's that he never repeated in any other film. The hair over his ear's completely covers his ears as opposed to his trademark style of the hair stopping mid way.
In one scene he was wearing the costume which he wore in a special appearance for 'Garam Masala'_.
