Miami – Last week, at his Washington D.C. tour stop, Colombia born singer-songwriter, and global Latin music superstar Maluma, premiered a heartfelt and extremely personal video for his song “Procura” off his newly released album, Don Juan. The video features a huge surprise and is a very special moment for Maluma.

In September, Maluma and Mexican singer-songwriter Carin León, reached #1 on TikTok for their song “Según Quién.” The track has accumulated over 2.4 billion views and 1 million creations on the platform. Miriam Nelson, who worked extensivley as a choreographer during Hollywood’s golden age, died on Aug. 12 at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to her longtime friend James Gray. She was 98.

Nelson was the choreographer for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “The Jolson Story,” “Picnic,” “Hawaii,” “Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice,” and “The Apartment.” She also appeared as an actress in “Double Indemnity,” “Cover Girl,” “The Jolson Story,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’,” and “Pillow Talk.” Nelson choreographed the dancers on the opening day of Disneyland in 1955, two Academy Awards and two Super Bowl halftime shows.

Nelson was widely known for her enthusiasm for dancing. John Wayne once shouted to a group taking a break on set as she walked by, “Run for the hills, fellas! Or Miriam will make you dance!”

She was born Miriam Lois Frankel on Sept. 21, 1919, in Chicago and began tap dancing at a very young age.

The recipient of 14 Oscar nominations (winning one for his score for 1967's Thoroughly Modern Millie), Bernstein wrote music for a number of classic movies that shaped the landscape of film in the last half of the 20th century. His scores ranged from the epic to the intimate, from classically austere to energetically jazzy, and were the accompaniment to a number of immortal films of the 50s and 60s. A protégé of Aaron Copland, Bernstein worked on B-films like Robot Monster before gaining fame with his jazz-influenced score (a Hollywood first) to 1955's The Man With the Golden Arm, for which he received his first Oscar nomination. A year later, his score for Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments also established his presence in Hollywood, and was quickly followed by scores for Sweet Smell of Success, Some Came Running, The Buccanner, and the TV series Gunsmoke, among others. Bernstein's most famous score came with the 1960 western The Magnificent Seven; its boisterous, rousing theme became of the most memorable pieces of movie music, and was endlessly featured (and imitated) in a number of movies to come; it was also utilized in a series of Marlboro commercials.

George Roy Hill, who won an Oscar for directing Paul Newman and Robert Redford in the 1973 box office hit The Sting, died Friday in Manhattan of complications from Parkinson's disease; he was 81. Hill also directed Newman and Redford in their first film together, the hugely popular comedy-western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), which received Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Director, and won four, including one for the song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head." Hill started his directing career during television's Golden Age in the `50s, helming such live dramas as A Night to Remember and Judgment at Nuremberg.
