The bikers were played by members of the Davie (FL) Police Department, many of whom were subsequently fired for their participation in this movie. In addition, other cast members lost their day jobs as well.
The theme song was covered by the garage rock revivalist group The A-Bones on their album "Daddy Wants a Cold Beer and Other Million Sellers."
Debut role for Eleanor Vaill (credited as Lee Holland). She appeared in three films in 1967 and never acted again. This was her only lead role.
After producing several low-budget films for kids, K. Gordon Murray decided to get into more adult fare. So he co-wrote and produced several, starting with this one. To save money, he hired a crew of Miami local non-actors and an ex-pat Cuban director (Joseph G. Prieto) to make it.
