Diane McBain and Sherry Jackson had been room-mates for a time after meeting in 1960 when Jackson guested on McBain's series Surfside 6 (1960).
Sherry Jackson and Patty McCormack had both had recurring roles on "uber-wholesome" television series, Jackson on The Danny Thomas Show (1953) and McCormack on Mama (1949).
Patty McCormack - Oscar nominated for The Bad Seed (1956) - had co-starred in an earlier "exploitation flick" produced/directed by Maury Dexter: Maryjane (1968) , also headlined by Diane McBain. After co-starring in two subsequent Dexter cheapies: The Young Animals (1968) and The Young Runaways (1968), McCormack would establish herself as a constant television presence, making occasional cinematic forays - most prestigiously as Pat Nixon in Frost/Nixon (2008).
