Haji said in an interview years later that while filming one scene, Hy Pike, who played Sancho Panza, suddenly pulled down her shirt and grabbed her breasts. She had no idea he was going to do it. When she got angry at him, he said the producers told him to do it. She got back at him later by slapping the butt of a donkey he was sitting on. When it freaked out and threw him to the ground, she yelled, "That'll teach you not to grab my breasts!"

Actress Haji said she not only hated making this film, she was also disgusted with it. They had showed her one script when she took the role, and started filming another one when production began.
