A line of dialogue in the film said by Terence Hill says "He who finds a friend finds a treasure". Bud Spencer and Terence Hill would later actually co-star in a movie called "Who finds a friend finds a treasure" [Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure (1981)] which is also known as "A Friend is a Treasure".
This film has had three English language titles including "Crime Busters" and "Trinity: In Trouble Again". The film's other English title is "Two Supercops". Terence Hill and Bud Spencer would later actually co-star in a film with a similar title called Miami Supercops (1985) but that movie is not a sequel to this film.
The movie was shot in 1976 but was not released in the USA until around 1979/1980. The picture was cut by around seventeen minutes for its American release stateside.
Due to dubbing his own voice for English language versions from henceforth, Terence Hill's characters would often be written as being of Italian decent (to explain the soft but distinctive accent) - usually hailing from Venice, Italy (Hill's actual place of birth).
In an interview, Bud Spencer revealed that once, when shooting a scene, real police came to arrest he and Terence Hill because they thought they were two criminals disguised as fake policemen. This happened because real police gave permission to the crew to shot the movie but they didn't know how and when the scenes were going to be shot.
