Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has completed a “wondrous” 55 years in the world of Hindi cinema and to celebrate it he has given himself an AI spin. It was in 1969, when the cine icon stepped into the world of showbiz with ‘Saat Hindustani’ and since then he has captivated the audience with his impeccable performances on screen.

Amitabh took to X (formerly Twitter), where he dropped two AI images of himself.

The first picture has a camera lens in place of his spectacle lens. The second photo has a colourful camera reel like streamers with faces and eyes made on it.

Music composer Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, of Laxmikant-Pyarelal fame, has been honoured with the prestigious Padma Bhushan, not only as a celebration of his musical prowess, but also in acknowledgment of his role in defining the golden era of Hindi film music.

The octogenarian learnt the basics of music from his father, the renowned trumpeteer of his time, Ramprasad ‘Babaji’ Sharma. New Delhi, Sep 4 (Ians) On the 71st birth anniversary of actor Rishi Kapoor, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor remembered her late husband.

Known for his first leading role in 1973 teen romance film ‘Bobby’ opposite Dimple Kapadia, Rishi’s acting career spanned 50 years. His notable works include ‘Khel Khel Mein’, ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Karz’, ‘Prem Rog’, ‘Coolie’ ‘Nagina’, and ‘Chandni’ amongst others.

He married actress Neetu Singh in 1980, and the couple have two children— son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, and daughter Riddhima.

Mumbai, April 30 (Ians) Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has remembered her late husband-actor Rishi Kapoor on his third death anniversary.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, Neetu shared an old memory with Rishi. In the image, the couple posed together and smiled for the camera.

She captioned it: “You are missed every day with all the wonderful happy memories.”

Rishi Kapoor passed away at 67 in 2020, after a two-year battle with leukaemia. He worked in many films including Kabhi Kabhie, Bobby, Rafoo Chakkar, Chandni, Agneepath, Amar Akbar Anthony, Do Dooni Chaar, Naseeb, Ajooba, Kapoor & Sons, Mulk and 102 Not Out among many others.

Neetu was last seen on screen in JugJugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

Mumbai, March 25 (Ians) Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor shared some moments from her last trip with late actor and husband Rishi Kapoor.

"Since today is Rishiji's 11 month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our last trip to NYC," Neetu wrote posting a clip on Instagram, where the two are seen sight-seeing in New York. Rishi Kapoor is seen humming a song as he walks around with his wife.

He also is heard telling her not to focus the camera on him and to show the picturesque locale around.

Rishi Kapoor stayed in the US for almost a year for his cancer treatment. He breathed his last on April 30, 2020.

Last weeks India’s RAWstar opened with the challenge from mentor Himesh to the contestants, that they have to sing live in front of their fans in their favourite cities because performing live and connecting with the audience, is the only way to take their music to the next level.

The audience were shown, how the contestants participated in various radio interviews and their journeys to their home towns, to meet their fans.

The first live performance that we got to see, was from Jeffrey Iqbal. Jeffrey performed ‘Yun Hi Chala’ live for his fans and he received an overwhelming response. The second live performance was from Darshan Raval who went to his home town Ahmedabad, to meet his biggest fan and to sing ‘Pehla Nasha’ live for the audience. Mentor Hr is still amazed that Darshan has composed such a fine love song (‘Pehli Mohobbat’) at such a young age.
