Final film of Jana Werichová.
One of three urban fantasy comedy movies starring Vlastimil Brodský with plot revolving around ghosts. The other two were Bílá paní (1965) and Freonový duch (1991).
Antonín Jedlicka and Jan Skopecek were briefly considered for the part of Knigh Brtnik of Brtnik, eventually played by Jirí Sovák.
