This short/documentary is banned by Brazilian Justice, at the request of Di Cavalcanti's family. They say that Glauber wasn't respectful enough and turned Di's funeral into a carnival party.
It has been stated by Glauber Rocha that he started shooting the film on the same day Di Cavalcanti's death was announced, right after he found out about it. Only two hours after he woke up and read the newspapers.
On a simple twist of fate, Glauber Rocha's own funeral was also made into a film that was banned for years by his family, scenes present in the documentary Glauber o Filme, Labirinto do Brasil (2003).
