Right, I am just going to assume that anyone reading this is a fan of the epic television series which is Game of Thrones. The upcoming season, which will air in July, is moving towards the end game.
In fact, a trailer has just been released (not one filled full of action, dragons, mammary glands and death) and whilst it may not give much insight into what fans can expect of the new series, it certainly is interesting.
Now, I didn’t get into Thrones until the third series was aired, I just didn’t have time and thought it was overhyped like The Walking Dead, but how wrong I was. I love the show, I love the characters, the story (prefer the books but we will get to that later), just everything about it.
I will admit, the fifth series was quite dull compared to the rest but I...

The biggest battle Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's faced was impressing its critics, and despite the best efforts of all parties involved, the movie failed to do just that. Reviews for director Zack Snyder's PG-13 blockbuster are in, and the overall consensus is that he crammed too much into the 152-minute movie. Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprise their roles as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, while Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg and Gal Gadot join the cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Lex Luthor and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. In spite of its poor reviews, analysts predict the movie will open with $350 million across 35,000 theaters globally. The superhero flick will easily dethrone Zootopia, which has been No. 1 since its March...

The biggest battle waged this summer was not the one between Ultron (James Spader) and the Avengers, nor was it the war between Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the Syndicate. Instead, there has been a legal fight going on behind the scenes between the MPAA, the major Hollywood studios and a syndicate of online pirates operating under the umbrellas of the MovieTube banner… and it continues to take several unexpected turns. In July, according to THR, the Motion Picture Association of America and its members – which includes Paramount, Warner Bros., Fox, Columbia Pictures, Universal and Disney – filed a legal complaint against the mysterious and anonymous operators of the MovieTube websites, trying to prevent them from providing stream-worthy, pirated copies of Hollywood movies like Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. On a Facebook page associated with the MovieTube sites, the defendants in the suit claimed ...

The biggest battle Game of Thrones has staged since Blackwater unfurled in all its bloody glory Sunday night and, true to the HBO drama’s tradition, the fight ended with a major character — Ygritte — going gently into that great night.

There is no question that Bravo loves a good wedding. Housewives Kim Zolciak, Tamra Barney, NeNe Leakes, and Kandi Burruss have had spinoff shows chronicling their trip down (or back down) the aisle, and there is even a special wedding section of the Shop by Bravo store online. So naturally Bravo is following the unfortunate path many marriages take with its new show Untying the Knot.
In Bravo terms, Untying the Knot is the anti-Millionaire Matchmaker meets Million Dollar Listing. The show isn’t about second chances or one last effort to keep that marriage knot from coming undone; it’s about navigating divorce.

The biggest battle of 2014 will be Godzilla vs. Walter White. The new trailer for the upcoming "Godzilla" reboot begins with various shots of mammoth destruction along the Pacific Rim, while a frantic Bryan Cranston -- in full "Breaking Bad" mode -- yells, "It was not an earthquake, it wasn't a typhoon...And it is going to send us back to the Stone Age. You have no idea what's coming." Cranston plays a scientist bent on discovering the truth about the disasters, with his military son ("Kick-Ass" star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, buffer than ever) at his side. The trailer also includes Ken Watanabe ("Batman Begins") making allusions to a catastrophic event in 1954, which happens to be the year in which the original Toho film was released. Everything's coming full circle, and it won't be pretty. As for Godzilla himself, the new film's design is more traditional than the 1998 version, and he seems bigger than ever.

Tomorrow sees Newcastle United and table toppers Manchester City lock horns in a game which may have far-reaching consequences for the rest of the league. It is already being called the Game of the Season, because it may well decide who wins the title, and who qualifies for next season’s Champions League competition, and you simply cannot underestimate how much a result would mean to either team.
Will Newcastle take any confidence in the fact that in the five same fixtures which have brought defeat for Man City they have picked up 9 points of the 12 available (Everton away will round out the season for the Toon)? Will Man City, with probably the finest goalkeeper in the league (according to the Pfa anyway), be able to stop the potent attacking threat of Senegalese hitman Papiss Cisse and his two partners in crime Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa?
Let’s hope so.
