In the end credits, they misspelled Madeleine Stowe's name. Instead, it is shown to be Madeline Stowe, missing the second letter "e" in her first name.
At approximately 4:40, when the character Chingachgook (played by Ned Romero) opens his mouth wide and lets out a loud scream, you can clearly see one of his fillings, or a gold crown on one of his teeth.
Early in the film, the English officer sits on a log covered with fire ants, which are not found in Upstate New York and as a species were not introduced into North America from Latin America until much later than the 18th Century.
