The only cinema screenplay written by journalist Vladimir Herzog. The film was made and released three years after his murder at the DOI-CODI facilities as a torture victim during the military regime.
João Batista de Andrade later directed both Antônio Fagundes and Rolando Boldrin in O Tronco (1999).
Antônio Fagundes and Denise Del Vecchio later appeared in The Next Victim (1983) - also directed by João Batista de Andrade - and the soap opera A Viagem (1994).
