I loved this movie when I first saw it in 1978 on CBS.It was a Tuesday night. It is a wonderful send up on weddings.I am a wedding consultant as a hobby and this film had so many sparkling moments in it.I highly recommend it for anyone. It does not seem so dated even after all these years.I love the intertwining stories especially at the end when the whole cast is in the ballroom celebrating for the wedding reception. On the whole it is a fun time for all.It was great to see Dick Van Patten as the Father trying to pay for his daughter's expensive Wedding and getting arrested for his trouble.Tom Bosley was excellent as the Wedding Manager and caterer for the Bonaventure Hote. I would recommend two other films along these comedic lines, Getting Married and Wedding Day Blues(previously titled Going to the Chapel).
