Bruce Le looked like it might be another bad, but fun, Kung Fu flick. (That's why I bought it, because I'm a collector of them) However, it is not. Bruce Le (Not Bruce Lee) hardly appears at all, even though he is supposed to be the lead character! Even when he appears, one is struck by how hard he trys to immitate the real Bruce Lee. Some of the exact same outfits, yells, clenching of muscles, etc. The rest of the movie is as bad or worse. To credit the movie with dialogue seems like an insult. The action sequences stink bad, the usual fake sounds of fists, blows, kicks, etc seem even worse than normal.The stupidity of the characters is unbelievable. But the main problem is that the tone of the movie is wrong, and because of that it is Dreadfully Boring. The laughs that I get from crappy Kung Fu are very far in between, but one knows them if they watch. (Just wait for Peter Ze!) In short, if you pick it up, and want to see how bad it is, get some of your friends, some red bull and beer, and you just might be able to get some entertainment out of it...maybe...

'Bruce The Superhero' features Bruce Lee clone, Bruce Le, who "stars" in and directs the film. Actually, Bruce Le is mostly a supporting player in the film while a more competent Philipino lead actor/martial artist takes charge. Le, the Philipino kickboxer, and their allies must get to hidden WWII gold before the Yakuza and a bunch of different gangsters do. Bolo Yeung(of 'Enter the Dragon' fame) plays one of the gangster's lackeys. In one scene, he "fights" with a decrepit, somewhat benign ox as a stolen Jerry Goldsmith score from 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' plays over the scene. I almost thought V'Ger was going to come down from the sky and turn Bolo into a "data pattern". This film stinks of gaudy fashions, low production values, grainy filmstock, etc. Still, there's a half-decent fight between Bruce Le and Chiang Tao(who sports a snake hand puppet). Bruce Lee clone, Bruce Le, shows little presence(as usual) in this film. I only recommend this film to hard-core martial-arts cinema fans who have the patience to endure this lackluster cheese-fest.

Bruce Le and producer Dick randall teams up again in a poor effort action film. This time Bruce has a supporting part as he is in search of the organization that killed his sister. Bruce hardly appears as the lead someone else who witness Bruce's sister murder, and he hold the key to the hidden gold that was missing from the US army in World War 2. The Mafia, Japanese Bushido (!) mob, and other crime family around the world wants the million in gold. Bolo Yeung plays a Japanese (!) fighter who battle a savage bull (well, the bull looks old and ill), and the hired fighter's hand turns into a cobra in the final battle scene! (scene is a terrible). It's a let down to any Bruce Lee fans (if there is any out there). Music is lifted from ENTER THE DRAGON and DEATH CHALLANGE. I think this film is a sequel to another Bruce Lee film produced by Randall. Not recommended.
