This film was the last film of music meastro O.P.Nayyar with singer Asha Bhosle, they dint work together again. This was also Nayyar saab last major film. Asha Bhosle won an award for her song in this last film with Nayyar Saab ' chain se hamko kabhi jeena na diya...... ' but this award winning song and the best song in the film was deleted from the film, it was not there in the film.
After Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye, then writer and director Ali Raza made Janwar with Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman and this was the last film he.had directed. Ali Raza always wanted to. make a film tittled. Ram Aur Rahim, but things dint work, Ali Raza his dream remained unfulfilled.
Rekha was newcomer when she signed this film with major filmmaker, actor, music director and song writers.
