Neither officer Burdick or officer Foley are Sergeants or even Corporals. Yet their immediate supervisor is a Captain. There is no rank structure in between. No sergeants or lieutenants. The is no large city police department that has a chain of command such as this.
In every sequence from inside the chopper it appears that the officer who is piloting the chopper is seated on the right hand side of the cockpit. In actuality a Bell 206 Jet Ranger is piloted from the left side which is standard practice in most aircraft.
When views of the helicopter flying were made, the sound was a continuous loop, not the actual sound of the Bell 206.
When inside the helicopter flying, there is no fluctuation of the instrumentation.
