The title of the film (literally: "The Star of Captivating Happiness") is a quotation from a poem by Alexander Pushkin. The poem reads, "While we are inflamed by freedom, / While our hearts live for honor, / My friend, let us devote to the fatherland / The fine impulses of our spirits, / Have faith, my friend: it will arise, / The star of captivating happiness / Will awaken Russia from its slumber, / And on the ruins of autocracy / They will inscribe our names!"
