Tonino and Lucia love each other but can't marry until they have enough money. Tonino is fired from his job and decides to leave for Belgium to work in a mine. An accident leaves him with amnesia. He then meets, falls in love with and shares a life with a Belgian girl, unaware of his past relationship with his first girl. Lucia goes to Belgium to find her boyfriend, and then the complications ensue. I would characterize this as a second-rate soap opera for the undiscriminating masses. One interesting anomaly is the fact that each actress's voice is dubbed by the other. Nothing else about the movie is interesting.
