Sub-par animation that was produced by the same company that inspired the "Johnny chimpo" series featured in the hit movie Super Troopers.

Despite the animation imperfections, or the differently told story, this was still a favored and cherished cartoon movie adaption of Pinocchio among many fans. The perspective and style is drastically different from that of the Disney version of Pinocchio, but it was presumably deemed good in its own way of representation, event sequence, and even with the poignant emotion of its story.
