In the opening sequence of the Little House, Bandit's doghouse is missing from the yard.

The Carter's would not be worried about Christmas presents since Sarah's father is mega rich.

In the beginning, Charles Ingalls (Michael Landon) starts the narration stating that it is the winter of '96. Rose Wilder (Laura and Almanzo's daughter) is around 2 years old in this movie. The real Rose Wilder was born in 1887. She would be 9 years old.

The music box Santa gave Jenny was the same one Albert bought for Mary after her baby died in the fire.

The printed wrapping paper on Nancy's pile of presents was not invented until 1917.

Some of the men have belt loops on their pants. Belt loops were not invented until 1922.

Santa did not have a red suit until the 1930s when the Coca-cola company thought it would look better in their ads.

The flowering bush next to the school steps is a poisonous pink oleander. They do not grow in Minnesota.

At the end when the Norris family picks up Sam from the wilders, you can see that Mr. Norris is not the same actor driving the carriage.

When Almanzo is searching for Samuel in the woods, he calls out: "Daniel!", instead of Samuel.

Previously Laura blamed Doc Baker for letting her second baby die when he had nothing to do with it. But now she tells Almanzo the kidnapping was nobody's fault when it clearly was.
