This is a film directed by Li Fu (sometimes credited as Lawrence Full in some Western prints), however some Western sources and video covers credit Yen-Ping Chu as the director. In the original on-screen film credits (in Chinese language), Li Fu is credited as director (credited as his original Chinese name Fu Li) and Yen-Ping Chu is credited as planner (a term that has sometimes been wrongly translated as "production designer"). This also led to a confusion with the name "Lawrence Full", a name that first appeared in some Western prints as an alias for Fu Li and that was then thought to be an alias for Chu Yen-Ping.
