Sagan om Skrotnisse och hans vänner

I'm surprised to see no reviews of this magnificent Swedish mini series.

I remember seeing this back in the early 90s on Norwegian TV when I was a small kid, and it actually scared the hell out of me. It's pretty strange to think about now, but it was something with the strange atmosphere and the weird characters.. I probably just watched parts of the first two chapters back then, because I couldn't remember much from the desert part when I watched the whole series last month. The dialogue is excellent with funny hidden jokes throughout all episodes.

Sadly, I doubt people not familiar with this show from their childhood will appreciate it for what it is. The voice acting is actually really bad, but at the same time it makes the series even weirder and more creepy.

I'll always remember this series as an important part of my childhood. Pure nostalgia.
