Goofs

During the ambush, the gunman shoots and destroys the left rear tire on the car in which Patricia tries to escape. In the next shot, the tire is intact.

One of the dead soldiers in the beginning of the movie seems to be getting up in the background.

When Ninjas attack the convoy, a soldier enters a truck and Joe orders him to drive on. The truck's back is open as it drives toward the excavator blocking its way. After the truck passes the blockade, the back is closed with a green cover.

Before it takes off, the helicopter in the final battle scene does not have the white bar that Joe uses to climb on.

In the first fighting scene right after Patricia tries to escape and crashes the car, Dudikoff is fighting 3 enemies and in one scene he kicks an enemy with his left leg, but in the continuation of the shot from another angle his right leg kicking the enemy is shown.

During the jeep chase, Sgt Rinaldo's jeep hits the tree and it explodes. Firstly there was nothing in the jeep other than the gas tank in the back, that would make it explode like that. Secondly, it appeared he didn't hit the tree at a high rate of speed. If anything it would have caused significant damage to the jeep but it wouldn't make it erupt in to flames.

Several of the soldiers, including the Colonel who is in command, have hair way too long to be allowed by Army regulations.

Ninjas do not follow the Bushido.

Cpl. Jackson salutes Col. Hickock while they're both indoors and without covers on. Members of the U.S. military do not salute when not wearing covers.

Charley once calls their sergeant "sir." They were all already in hot water and would have gotten in even more for addressing an enlisted man like an officer.

When Joe uses Jackson's bike to jump over the wall, the front mud-flap of a motocross bike is visible underneath a fake body kit that looks like the original bike.

When Jackson and the army are shooting at the Filipino guards, one guards climbs over the banister after being shot.

Shortly after the military attack on the plantation begins, the Colonel is in a Jeep waving his men on with a soldierly yell. His gun's action is open, indicating that the weapon is empty.

During the final battle, as Shinyuki uses his ninja training to become invisible, his disappearance is obviously stop-motion. The security guard in the background jumps a few feet over without moving.

During the fight with the Filipino guards before the final fight scene, one guard's hat disappears during a shot. In the next shot, he's wearing it again.

After Joe jumps Jackson's bike over the wall to the American base, the stuntman, who is not wearing a helmet, smashing his face into the bike's windshield.

During the ambush, some Ninjas get the command to jump down from their place. In the shot where they are landing onto the ground, there is a character in uniform seen on the ground, who rolls himself quickly under the truck, which is most likely not meant to happen (crew-member, stunt double).

When Joe and Patricia jump from the helicopter onto the roof, they land on an orange mat.
