Alfonso André who plays Esteban Urquiza is the drums player of the legendary Spanish-language rock band Caifanes. Ernesto Gomez Cruz who plays Esteban's father, Mr. Urquiza also played "El Azteca" in the film Los Caifanes (1967) as one of the gang members.
