Davies earned $10,000 per week at MGM and $10,000 per week as president of Cosmopolitan Pictures. She was one of the richest women in the world and was a longtime philanthropist, especially regarding children's clinics and hospitals. Most of her MGM films are on DVD and are aired on TCM as classics of the era.
