Co-stars Lorna Patterson and Francine Tacker were both married to Robert Ginty. Patterson married him in November 1983, only 50 days after his divorce from Tacker.
The house where the Goodtime Girls supposedly lived, as shown in the establishing shots, is 421 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20003. Its value in 2014: about $1.7 million. The house is owned by UPS and is used for political events.
Peter Scolari practiced his unicycle with the standby painter by riding through the hot set. A hot set is one where nothing can ever be moved because they will still be filming there, and if something got bumped, it could appear to be moving all by itself in the scene.
