Professor Nugent's face is bandaged in the opening sequence, and the rest of the movie is a flashback to how his face became mutilated. In the beginning scenes, his face is bandaged so that the entire upper half of his face looks normal. However, when we see the actual incident where his face gets burned, his entire face is burned to the point of causing death by trauma and dehydration.

Professor Nugent's face is hideously burned on a hot stove from his eye area down, and the doctors say flesh is missing from the lower half of his face. But his speaking voice is perfectly normal, indicating that his lips are still intact, which is incongruous with what we see happen to him later in the film.

Fisherman's wound changes amount of flesh shown through continuous shots.

Professor removes his pants, but in the next shot in which he approaches his wife he still has them on.

At 17 minutes when Prof. Nugent and Roy are talking, Carlson can be seen briefly in the background approaching the camp, but in the next clip a few seconds later when both men have stood up and discussing their next move, Carlson is again seen in the background approaching the camp.

Pete is clearly moving his eyes while hanging dead in front of the door.

Obvious fake flash for wounds throughout the movie, especially at the showdown in the cabin where even some animal meat was used.

Some kind of a wire can be seen coming out from Linda's jeans when monster impales her.
