Tame Impala have gone prog rock with their new song, “Wings of Time,” off the soundtrack for the upcoming fantasy movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Stream it below.
“Wings of Time” features galloping percussion and triumphant lyrics from Kevin Parker, who sings, “We are number one/ It is clear to us now/ All that’s said and done/ I knew it all along.”
“Being asked to do a track for the D&d soundtrack seemed like an unmissable opportunity to indulge in my longtime love of fantasy prog rock,” Parker said in a statement. “I recruited my good friend Nicholas Allbrook, who is the person I know appreciates this subject matter the most. We rented a villa in Spain, that kind of felt like a castle, for two nights whilst on tour for Primavera. That location got us in the right frame of mind and it went from there.

Alaina Castillo is slowly but steadily rising into pop stardom, and on her way there, she's capturing the emotional pulse of an entire generation. Now, she's focusing on creating new music that showcases all of her sides, from the raw, sad emotions to her Latina identity and her love for Edm music.
"I'm doing the little kind of sad dance vibes that are bringing in a bunch of Spanglish . . . I'm incorporating a lot of dance influences," she tells Popsugar. "I'm very excited because...

If the last few moments of Big Sky‘s Season 2 finale are any indication, Season 3 in Helena is going to be one lit, good-looking time.
The final scene of Thursday’s season-ender finds Jenny and Cassie knocking back tequila at The Boot Heel with Sheriff Beau Arlen, a town newbie played by Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles. We’ll get to how they all meet in a minute. But for now, just know that he approaches the ladies in a friendly (not gross) manner, they give him a good-natured hard time, and he instantly matches both their vibe in a way that is respectful and fun.

Oh, you wanted answers, Severance fans? Well, Friday’s Season 1 finale provided a whole lot of them in a heart-pounding tightrope walk of an episode that saw Mark and his Lumon pals finally getting a glimpse of the outside world.

Mark finds himself talking to Cobel at Ricken’s book party, Irving finds himself painting to Motörhead — and Helly finds herself at a swanky party with that obnoxious Lumon board liaison at her side. LGBTQ+ characters have come a long way in cinema in recent years. They’re beginning to be recognised as just a part of society, present in all or most of the same spaces where one would expect to find straight people, and yet there are a few genres where we still don’t see much of them. One of those is the crime thriller. Sam H Freeman and Ng Choon Ping’s Femme turns that around, and what’s more, it does so with a hero who is comfortable with the feminine aspects of his personality and presentation, a kind of character who hardly ever gets any agency onscreen. Now that Femme has been nominated for a BIFA and a BAFTA, it’s clear that it has made an impact. I met its co-directors to ask them how it developed.

Could you make a movie all by yourself? The Woman With Leopard Shoes (La Femme Aux Chaussures Leopard), which is screening as part of the Frightfest selection at this year’s Glasgow Film Festival isn’t quite a solo effort, but it’s amazing how much its creator, Alexis Bruchon, has put into it – as writer, producer, director, cinematographer, editor and composer – especially as it’s his first film and he was learning on the job
It stars his brother, Paul Bruchon, as a young man who agrees to steal a box from a big house for an unseen woman who offers him a lot of money. The plan goes pear shaped when a lot of people arrive at the house for a party, leaving our hero trapped in a small study where he spends much of his time hiding under a desk,...

Gaumont has boarded Tristan Séguéla’s high-concept comedy “For Better And For Worse,” headlined by Cesar-winning Fabrice Luchini (“The Mystery of Henri Pick”) and Catherine Frot (“Marguerite”), two of France’s most bankable stars. The movie will begin shooting in April.
Luchini stars in the bold comedy as Jean, the conservative mayor of a small town in Brittany who’s in the middle of a re-election campaign when his devoted wife of forty years, Edith, tells him she wants to become a man. For a politician campaigning on family values, this is a no-go, but Edith make a deal with him: she will postpone her transition until after the elections. But campaigns are all about digging up dirt to keep the rumor mill turning.
Seguela previously directed “A Good Doctor,” which was a box office hit in France and sold to many territories. “For Better And For Worse” is produced by well-established banner Albertine Productions.

As a mere male, director Martin Provost has demonstrated his feminist credentials long before Me Too made it fashionable and politic to do so. In Séraphine, winner of seven Césars (the French Oscars) he explored the life of an outsider artist unforgettably incarnated by Yolande Moreau. With The Midwife (Sage Femme) he united Catherine Frot and Catherine Deneuve as they confront life’s shifting sands. En route there was also his portrait of writer Violette Leduc with Emmanuelle Devos as the contemporary and protegé of Simone de Beauvoir.

In Bo Derek’s new Reelz documentary, “In My Own Words,” the actress and former model admits, “I don’t care if anybody remembers me. I’ve never had the need to leave my mark on the world.”
That may be so. But Derek, now 63, will forever be remembered for her shot to stardom when she played Dudley Moore’s love interest in Blake Edwards’ 1979 romantic comedy “10.”
Her swimsuits and cornrows made her an instant sex symbol. But her life in the spotlight actually began a few years prior, in 1973, when she was just 17 and cast in her first movie, “Fantasies.” While on location in Greece, she fell in love with her director, former screen idol John Derek, who was 30 years her senior. Their romance ended Jon’s marriage to Linda Evans. Bo and John were married for 22 years before his death in 1988.

Most people would argue that Bo Derek has aged gracefully, but even she says that getting older is not for the faint of heart. "I realize how artificial it is, beauty," the 58-year-old star said during an interview on "CBS Sunday Morning." "I realize that it doesn't last forever, that's for damn sure." "Aging is really hard," she added. "And it's tough. Bette Davis was right; it's not for sissies, it really isn't. And there is a certain expectation. I get credit on one hand for not having had a facelift, and then on the other hand it's, 'Oh my God, why doesn't she do something?' So you're just torn. I just have to keep busy, have other interests and try not to think about it." The Hollywood veteran is known for sexy scenes in movies like "10," "Fantasies" and "Tommy Boy," admitting that she objectified herself early on in her career.
