Fan-favorite professional dancer Rylee Arnold is returning for Dancing with the Stars Season 33 and expressed disappointment that her sister isn’t there too.

Rylee joined the cast last season as she partnered with reality TV star Harry Jowsey, and the duo’s noticeable chemistry sparked romance rumors.

With those rumors laid to rest, Rylee is back for her second season, focused on winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with a new celebrity partner.

However, she indicated she wanted Lindsay Arnold to return for the cast and was “sad” she wouldn’t be part of the show.

Lindsay, a former DWTS winner, last appeared in Season 30 but has since been on a hiatus.

Angel Carter, the twin sister of the late singer Aaron Carter, declared that she had been prepared for her brother’s premature death in 2022.

On November 5, 2022, Aaron, 34, was found drowned in his bathtub at his house in Lancaster, California, after medical personnel responded to a 911 call.

Additionally, Angel and the late singer’s sister, Leslie Carter, passed away on January 31, 2012.

Leslie’s stepmother, Ginger Carter, stated that she died due to overdosing on several prescription drugs, of which she was under the influence during the time of her death.

During an episode of the podcast titled The Squeeze on June 26, Angel told the hosts Taylor Lautner and Tay Lautner that the unfortunate demise of her sister prepared her for her brother’s death.

“What’s so interesting about Leslie’s passing – she passed away when I was 23, her death completely blindsided me,” she admitted. “I didn’t see that one coming.

But now - after taking some time away from the chaos of the entertainment industry, focusing on his mental health, and getting married - he seems pretty clearheaded.

Twilight has been having a bit of a renaissance on social media over the past few years, and a new TV series based on the fantasy franchise has even reportedly been green lit, but Taylor says he's "in a great place now" about all that. "I don't know how much I've felt it, to be completely honest," he tells Popsugar of Twilight's resurgence in popularity.

Former manager and business partner of actor Michael Keaton, Harry Colomby has died at the age of 92. Colomby died on December 25, 2021.

Bobby Colomby, Drummer for Blood Sweat and Tears, and brother of Harry, confirmed his death with multiple sources. Also, Harry had been hospitalized five years after fracturing his pelvis in a fall.

Keaton and Colomby first met in the 1970s when the actor was working in stand-up comedy. “He saw something in Keaton that was astounding,” his brother said. “He saw his career long-term and knew he had more than just a few jokes in him.”

From their first connection, the duo worked on a slew of films and shows in which Colomby wrote and/or produced Working Stiffs, Report to Murphy, Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously, Touch and Go, The Squeeze, One Good Cop, and Speechless.

Fox has put in development Hood River, a multi-camera comedy from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television.

Written by Travis Bowe (Family Guy), Hood River is a small town multi-cam/multi-generational comedy about a diverse group of people who work and congregate in the town’s brewery. The core relationship is based on two characters, Pete and his mother, Sandy, who are based on Bowe and his mom’s real relationship that he reluctantly admits is more of a mother/daughter relationship.

Bowe executive produces with Kapital’s Kaplan and Dana Honor.

Bowe has spent the last few seasons on Fox/20th TV’s Family Guy, rising to his current position as co-executive producer. Before that, he worked on spinoff series The Cleveland Show. He is repped by UTA.

This marks the latest big broadcast commitment for Kapital, which scaled back on broadcast development with more targeted approach this season as it has been expanding into premium cable and streaming. The company has a total of four put put commitments, for dramas Wolfe and Blank at ABC, comedies Generation Gap and The Squeeze at CBS; as well as a series commitment for comedy Carol’s Second Act, starring Patricia Heaton, also at CBS.

In a very competitive situation, ABC has landed Wolfe, a crime drama from former Bones producer Kathy Reichs and executive producer/co-showrunner Michael Peterson as well as Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.

Written by Peterson, Wolfe centers on veterinarian Dr. Charles Wolfe, who has a unique perspective on homicide, believing murder is a primal, animalistic act, and killers are animals. After getting elected coroner of Boulder, Co, Wolfe partners with his mirror opposite, FBI profiler Kristin Faulk, who is confident Wolfe is dead wrong and that it is nurture, not nature, that leads a person to murder.

Bestselling novelist and forensic anthropologist Reichs, whose life and novels inspired Fox’s long-running crime drama Bones, is writing an ebook to coincide with the Wolfe pilot.

Peterson and Reichs executive produce alongside Kapital Entertainment’s Kaplan and Dana Honor. Kapital is the studio. ABC Studios is expected to co-produce if the project gets a pickup.

Exclusive: Patricia Heaton has picked her followup series starring vehicle to ABC’s The Middle, signing on to topline and executive produce multi-camera comedy Carol’s Second Act, which has received a series commitment at CBS. The project hails from Trophy Wife creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, Heaton and David Hunt’s FourBoys Entertainment and CBS TV Studios, where FourBoys is based.

Written by Halpern and Haskins, Carol’s Second Act centers around Carol Chambers (Heaton), who after raising her two children and retiring from teaching, embarks on a unique second act: she’s going to become a doctor.

Halpern and Haskins executive produce with Heaton, Hunt and Rebecca Stay for FourBoys, Heaton’s manager, Adam Griffin, and Kaplan and Dana Honor for Kapital Entertainment. CBS TV Studios is the studio.

I hear all the time that I live my life too much in the movies and sometimes I wonder to myself, is that really a bad thing? In the movies the imposing Twin Towers of the World Trade Center are still standing in Lower Manhatten, they are still dominating the New York skyline and inspiring characters to achieve their goals and reach for the stars.

In the films I can remember the New York skyline as it should be and through films they will live on longer than you or I and for the generation who are just growing up at school now and never lived in the same time when they stood, the Towers will be remembered by their cameo (and sometimes supporting character!) appearances in films.
